My Ikebana Life

Poet and author Munia Khan once said that “Life is always more beautiful and worth living when you are capable of enjoying the beauty of nature." Perhaps that’s why I enjoy flower arrangements so much. Each time I do so, I go away feeling inspired and reminded of how beautiful life is.

In fact, the making of Ikebana is for me likened to our eternal quest and journey of life - an
endless pursuit to cultivate a rich inner life and the development of our fullest potential in body, mind and soul.

The art of Ikebana also helps cultivate wisdom and appreciation for the beauty in diversity, around how different elements can be placed together, side by side, in perfect harmony and balance.

Just as I have benefitted greatly from these Ikebana creations, I hope that they too will inspire in you a process of healing and transformation.
